Ivy Tech plans $60 million in improvements for Fort Wayne campus, which serves more than 19,000 students from 11 counties

A new 50,000-square-foot nursing and health sciences facility is among $60 million in capital improvements slated for Ivy Tech Fort Wayne, the community college announced Thursday after its leaders agreed to issue bonds to finance the project.

The project, which also includes demolishing two buildings and modernizing another, has been a priority for more than a decade, said Sue Ellspermann, Ivy Tech president.
