The Fort Wayne City Council on Tuesday approved what it called a stopgap measure to help Citilink avoid cutting services as it faces a $2.5 million deficit.
Citilink officials two weeks ago presented the public transportation agency’s budget for next year. That included a request for a special levy that would cost residents between $3 and $12 a year depending on the value of their home.
