Immigration bill amended, advances in Indiana House

INDIANAPOLIS - The House Public Policy Committee voted 7-4 Monday to pass what several Republicans called a "watered-down" bill on illegal immigration.

The vote came after the panel accepted a key amendment to Senate Bill 335.
