EverGreen RV in talks with would-be buyer, economic development official says

ELKHART — Another company is potentially interested in acquiring EverGreen Recreational Vehicles, Mark Dobson, the executive director of the Economic Development Corp. of Elkhart County said Tuesday.

Though he's hearing of talks, he didn't name the would-be buyer and emphasized that the chatter is not confirmed. At any rate, he spoke favorably of the possibility, which would potentially stop the liquidation of EverGreen's assets.

"I assume part of the appeal is the manufacturing opportunity," Dobson said. "It would be a good operation."
