FOWLER -- When the first discussions were held about the possibility of wind farms being built in Benton County, Jimmy Bricker didn't know what the future would bring.

Groundbreaking ceremonies were held northeast of here Friday morning for Hoosier Wind Project, the third wind farm in this 406-square-mile county with a population of approximately 8,800.
