While wind farms are generating electricity in Benton County, they also are pumping up business and helping create employment opportunities in Tippecanoe County.

Greater Lafayette Commerce estimates the alternative energy phenomenon that has altered the landscape from Fowler to Earl Park -- and is scheduled to move toward Chalmers -- will add at least $20 million annually to the Tippecanoe County economy.
