The Harrison Square development deals received final approval Monday after city officials detailed how the hotel subsidies are smaller than what has been offered in other similar Midwest projects.
The Fort Wayne Redevelopment Commission unanimously approved deals with Hardball Capital, White Lodging Services and Acquest Realty for the $120 million development. The project includes a Courtyard by Marriott from White and Acquest, a city-built parking garage, retail and condominiums built by Hardball and a city-owned baseball stadium where the Fort Wayne Wizards will play.
