Got $3 million?

MUNCIE -- Peter Dvorak is keenly aware of the sentiment about him among some in Muncie. As he stood outside the Roberts Hotel this week, he noted that some people think of him as "the devil incarnate."

'm sure a lot of people in Muncie would like to see me leave town," said the financially-troubled Bloomington businessman, who closed Muncie's last remaining downtown hotel in late 2006. "But none of them are stepping up with a checkbook."

If someone did step up, how much money would it take for Dvorak to part with the hotel he's owned since 2004, the scene of his failed attempt this year to redevelop the property as luxury apartments?
