Muncie City Council overrides mayor's veto on rescinded abatement

MUNCIE -- Despite warnings from economic development experts, Muncie City Council on Monday upheld action to rescind about $150,000 in property tax abatement for BorgWarner Automotive, which continues to lay off hourly workers and outsource local production.
