INDIANAPOLIS -- St. Joseph County Commissioners signed a bipartisan letter in support of an Indiana Senate bill that would eliminate county commissioners and replace them with one county executive.
Commissioner Mark Dobson testified before the Indiana Senate Local Government and Elections Committee on Wednesday saying that he and the other commissioners believe they can begin working on the change this year and have it fully implemented by 2009.
