Proposed downtown Fort Wayne hotel wins $2.5 million subsidy

City leaders Friday received a key public financing piece for the $130 million Harrison Square development despite a request for more private investment.

The Fort Wayne Allen County Convention and Tourism Authority Board unanimously approved providing $250,000 annually over 10 years to help subsidize the Courtyard by Marriott that will anchor the $130 million downtown development.
