Most Sallie Mae employees likely to come from outside Muncie

MUNCIE -- Fewer than 200 of the 700 employees Sallie Mae plans to hire for a new Muncie debt-management facility will be current Delaware County residents if the hiring mimics national trends, according to a Ball State University economist.
