Unemployment down in most northeast Indiana area counties for July 2009

With two exceptions, unemployment fell across northeast Indiana, according to data released Friday by the state's Department of Workforce Development.

The improved employment picture is likely due to improving RV sales and the resumed production by General Motors Corp. and Chrysler Group LLC.
