The Hoosier Homegrown Energy plan unveiled by Gov. Mitch Daniels Friday, to produce more energy within the state for use by Indiana residents and businesses, was welcome news for Rick Davison.

He is chairman and chief executive officer of Maize AgriProducts Inc., the company that is planning to build a $90 million ethanol plant in Boswell. The facility will purchase corn from farmers in Benton and other nearby counties to create the renewable fuel.
