Construction of ethanol plant stops at Biotown USA site

REYNOLDS -- The construction of an ethanol plant as part of the Biotown USA project has been, at a minimum, delayed.

VeraSun Energy Corp. of Brookings, S.D., said it will suspend construction because of unfavorable market conditions, according to a company statement released Monday. It could start construction again in 2008, depending on whether the conditions change.
