PORTLAND -- Jay County might well have an ethanol plant up and running by this time next year -- if all goes well.
"We'll be the first ones to build an ethanol plant in this area," said Bob Berens, director of site development for Broin Companies, the major investor in Premier Ethanol's proposed project.
