Some Lafayette School Corp. librarians will be shelved

When Miami Elementary School media specialist Kathy Glusic thinks about what's happening to her library, it's hard to hold back her tears.

For almost four decades, Glusic has served as a media specialist for Lafayette School Corp. elementary schools.

Now under a cost-saving measure that will eliminate LSC's elementary school media specialist positions, she'll be moved out of the library and into a classroom.

"I've taught in a library for 37 years, and I've never taught in a classroom, so it's kind of scary," Glusic said.
