DELPHI -- Due to a cut in state funding and an increase in health care costs, the Delphi Community School Corp. board voted to eliminate seven teacher positions Tuesday night.
Superintendent Ralph Walker said two industrial arts teachers and two vocational business teachers were cut at the high school level.
At the elementary and middle school levels, a total of three positions were lost due to scheduling changes for art, music and physical education classes.
