EDITORIAL: Don't scrap vote centers over politics

Vote centers are convenient, efficient and increase voter turnout, but some lawmakers don't care. They see vote centers as a political bargaining chip.

This development late in the session leaves the General Assembly poised to scrap vote centers if a compromise on absentee ballot rules cannot be reached.

It's partisan politics at its worst.
