Drew Industries will change its corporate name to LCI Industries, effective Dec. 30.

The Elkhart-based recreational vehicle supplier announced Dec. 19 that its board of directorsapproved the name change, which reflects the name of the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, Lippert Components.

The company’s ticker symbol will change to LCI, effective with the market’s open on Jan. 3.

Lippert Components’ business has grown considerably over the past decade, and the new corporate name was selected to better align the investment community with the strength of the LCI brand in the industries it serves, the announcement said.

Outstanding stock certificates will not be affected by the name change and will not need to be exchanged. All stock trading, filings and market-related information will be reported under the new corporate name and trading symbol.

Drew Industries has 48 manufacturing and distribution facilities in the U.S. Canada and Italy. In addition to the RV industry, it supplies components to adjacent industries including buses; trailers used to haul boats, livestock, equipment and other cargo; pontoon boats; manufactured homes; modular housing; and factory-built mobile office units.
