East Allen County Schools proposed tax levy falls decisively

FORT WAYNE – The East Allen County Schools board will need to rethink its priorities after a tax levy earmarked for schools was voted down Tuesday.

Voters in East Allen County overwhelmingly rejected a property tax levy that would have allowed the school district to collect as much as $8.2 million annually from district residents.
