From Wingate to Chalmers, and Odell to Earl Park, wind farm projects that will boost employment, help fund local government and create an alternative source of energy are in various stages of development and operation.

And the epicenter of the renewable energy ramp-up is Benton County, where wind turbines share farm fields with corn and soybeans.
