Daniels open to limits on smoking

INDIANAPOLIS - Gov. Mitch Daniels for the first time Friday said he would sign a statewide smoking ban into law if legislators send one to him.

In the past, Daniels has said he would consider one but preferred leaving the issue up to individual communities.
