Union representative Steve Brace intends to do his job so no Fort Wayne Community Schools teachers will lose theirs.
But district Superintendent Wendy Robinson has shown there are teeth behind her announcement last week that at least 10 schools will see staff overhauls so the district can be part of Indiana's application for millions of dollars in federal stimulus money.
Every high school assistant principal, 20 in all, was handed a pink slip and will be required to reapply for their jobs if they want to keep working for district. The North Side and South Side high school principals were also given preliminary notice that they will have to reapply for their jobs.
