Long list of Bloomington/Monroe County projects awaits stimulus funding

Extensive improvements to West Third street and a pedestrian and bicycle trail for Ellettsville are among projects proposed by the Bloomington/Monroe County Metropolitan Planning Organization to use federal stimulus funds.

The list, which has been given to the Indiana Department of Transportation, includes road repairs and bridge work. Bridge projects include Rogers Street and That Road bridges over Clear Creek and Rogers Street and Grimes Lane bridges over Jackson Creek.
