It took a year to draw up the plan. Now, Greater Lafayette arts leaders said Thursday, it's time for action.
The "Cultural Plan for Lafayette and West Lafayette" was unveiled Thursday at the Tippecanoe Arts Federation.
Conducted by WolfBrown, a consulting firm based out of Cambridge, Mass., the plan was accepted by an executive steering committee led by Jim Bodenmiller, a retired Eli Lilly employee, and retired West Lafayette Mayor Sonya Margerum. It is intended to serve as a blueprint to the Greater Lafayette arts scene for the next 15 years.
