INDIANAPOLIS - Counties aren't accustomed to getting good news from the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance.
But a recent memo from the state agency that oversees property taxes informed county officials that they have money leftover in two child welfare funds that can be used to reduce future property taxes or supplement rainy-day savings accounts.
