CAFO plans still in doubt for Grant County

Although a company with plans to build a 2,200-cow dairy near Van Buren has abandoned those plans, company officials say they're still in the market for a Grant County location should one become available.

Cecelia Conway, a representative from Vreba-Hoff Dairy Development LLC of Wauseon, Ohio, said the company has abandoned plans to locate an animal feeding operation at Grant County roads 300 North and 800 East.
