INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana University trustees approved a 3.5 percent tuition increase for in-state students in each of the next two years and a new renovation and rehabilitation fee at a special meeting Tuesday on the IUPUI campus.
President Michael A. McRobbie and Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Neil Theobald each said the increases comply with the nonbinding recommendation of the state’s higher education commission to hold tuition increases to a 3.5 percent maximum for the Bloomington campus. Tuition will increase by 2.5 percent at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and IU’s regional campuses in Gary, Kokomo, New Albany, Richmond and South Bend.
