SOUTH BEND -- A Chicago area congressman told an audience of about 150 Latinos on Sunday that he's urging President Barack Obama to stick to his promises of immigration reform.

So far, U.S. Rep. Luis Gutierrez said he hasn't seen any action.

As the Democrat spoke at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, he quoted Obama's words from 2008, talking about the need to change an immigration system where communities are "terrorized" by immigration raids and where "nursing mothers are torn from their babies."
