Indianapolis AT&T office to eliminate 115 jobs

AT&T Services Inc. will cut 115 jobs at its downtown Indianapolis location on North Meridian Street within the next two months, the Texas-based company said in a state filing.

The job losses are part of AT&T's decision to close its local wholesale operations, which provide services to commercial customers. Workers affected include 107 customer service representatives, five technical specialists and three managers.

Managers will be let go Feb. 28, while remaining employees will stay until March 16.
