Recession reels in some northeast Indiana festivals

The board of the Fort Wayne Newspapers Three Rivers Festival wasn't pleased when an internal memo was leaked to some media last week, warning board members the festival was short about $65,000 in sponsorships.

It wasn't the way the festival had planned to announce it was short on money.

But board member Garry Morr doesn't see harm in acknowledging that the festival is struggling - a situation many groups and organizations hosting events are in this year.
