MUNCIE -- Imagine a crowd of protesters circling City Hall or the Delaware County Building, chanting about property taxes and demanding action from their elected officials.

Now imagine the protesters are calling for higher property taxes.

You haven't stumbled into The Twilight Zone. You've gotten a glimpse a few years into the future for Indiana communities -- at least according to Kurt Zorn, an Indiana University professor of academic, public and environmental affairs and former chairman of the Indiana State Board of Tax Commissioners. Zorn said he believes citizens will eventually rebel against the results of the property tax cuts they once embraced.
